Business Branding and Web Design: Bandit’s Bookshop is an indie bookshop that we launched this past fall. The shop offers a carefully curated selection of new and used books online and at local pop up markets. I have designed, administered, and maintained, every aspect of our online presence. It has been a really fun hobby to take on and is a great way to apply my professional skills in conjunction with my passion for creativity within a personal endeavor.
Cohesive Custom Paper Goods Set: A recent non-work related projects I’m particularly proud of is designing my wedding paper goods including unique touches that encapsulated the look and feel of the day.
In a marketing masters course we were challenged to create a logo using illustrator with the only source of guidance being a fictitious company name. The company name I was assigned was IV Coffee. With this is instantly thought of the show Gilmore Girls, and I wanted to bring to life a cozy corner, no fuss, coffee shop.
I was also able to create a mock logo for the Bama at Work organization at The University of Alabama to illustrate a recommended branding improvement for enhancing brand awareness. You can see the full diagnostic report of buyer personas, web presence, market audience, and social media strategies for The University of Alabama’s Bama at Work department.
I also worked with a local business, Polished Pirates, to develop branded logo options.
Self-Published Student Project:
This is one of my favorite project to date. It was a semester long adventure into the process of magazine design, where I was able to created all of the recipes, content, images and designs myself. My mission was to create a magazine for young women who need amusing info on painless cooking. The coverage is witty with an open conversation about everyday life. (Additional design projects follow.)
