I am a visual minded and data enthused digital marketer

With a bachelor’s degree in visual journalism, I’m trained in the science of image composition, comfortable page design, and the art of compelling storytelling. Those skills marry well with the analytic understandings and marketing knowledge I have gained throughout my graduate studies in a business environment. My motivations are driven by creative challenges, along with data driven insights when optimizing marketing message delivery.

During my masters studies I have performed market research using three unique data sets. I utilized factor analysis, perception mapping, linear multiple regression, and two-step clusters. I developed diagnostic reports of buyer personas, web presence, market audience, social media strategies, and email campaigns for The West Alabama Chamber of Commerce and The University of Alabama Bama at Work department. I also was awarded a Global Collaboration Certificate, after a two month experience as a member of a global virtual team who developed a comprehensive international expansion business plan for Dudley Hair Care. The overall quality score of our report qualified us to rank in the top 13% of team report submissions.

As the Marketing Assistant at Hoffman Media, I integrated new products and promotional material onto the company online stores, communicate product shipment schedules and inventory reports with the warehouse, manage inventory and promotion statues uploads, and boost book material.

Prior to being the Marketing Assistant, I was the Online Editor for four in-house brands at Hoffman Media. These brands included Bake from Scratch, The Cottage Journal, Classic Sewing Magazine, and The Ribbon In My Journal. I was responsible for managing the digital presence, assisting in maintaining the WordPress websites including SEO optimization, authoring branded e‐newsletters, and creating multi-platform social media campaigns.
